*Long read but worth it! McKenna update as well!*
For the past six years, McKenna has been living with a knot on the left side of her face. What was once mainly a cosmetic concern has now grown and begun causing her pain, headaches, dental problems, eye strain, changes in her vision, and damage around her jaw, sinuses, and the bone supporting her eye.
Since making the post yesterday for her asking for dr recommendations, she was finally able find someone to take her on at Vanderbilt!
McKenna and her husband, Daniel will travel to Vanderbilt on October 1 for her initial consultation and additional scans. She described to me what the surgery will kind of look like when we spoke about her appointment.
With that being said, this WILL be the beginning of the appointments, travel, treatment, and possible surgery ahead, so I created this GoFundMe to help take some of that financial weight off their shoulders.
I’ve known McKenna since she was a baby. She was the very first baby I ever babysat, and years later, she became one of the first girls to join my very first senior model team, my Wild Tribe group. I had the privilege of photographing her throughout her entire senior year and since then I’ve watched her journey continue as she became a wife and now a mama to two precious babies of her own.
So when I say this one is personal to me, I truly mean it.
I want us alllllll to come together and help get this mama healthy, confident, pain free, and back to the beautiful, happy, smiley McKenna that I know she is.
