Such a fun night with this gem!!
I am truly honored to have been awarded the Civilian Volunteer Partner of the Year Award from the Columbia Police Department. I absolutely love working this group. FUN….yes, but they are dedicated to keep Columbia safe and protected. They LOVE Columbia and the people and it shows in their love for their job.

NEWBORNS!!!! I just love them. look how adorable she is. She wanted to stay awake, absolutely no sleeping LOL. We went with it and I am so glad we did. Some newborns are just nosy and want to know exactly what is going on. It's always best to take newborn pictures within the first 2 weeks; however, it doesn't always work out. In this case, Miss Lynleigh was 3 weeks old. She was a little more alert and a little more nosy as to what we were doing with her. That was ok because we got the sweetest eyes open pictures of her.
Oh the snuggles I got during this shoot were amazing. Shooting newborns will teach you so much, most importantly PATIENCE!! We are on their time after all. Take breaks, a lot if you need to. Be very patient with them, they can sense if you are getting anxious. She DOES NOT like her hands or feet messed with so we left them alone, learned that the hard way.
In the end......I am completely obsessed with Lynleigh Rose and her newborn shoot. I am completely giddy over here.

Newborns!!
Y’all I just love these little bundles of joy so much.
Let’s get real, sometimes your newborn session doesn’t go quite as planned. They have bad days too ya know. Today, this sweet little girl wanted nothing to do with her photo shoot. I did all my soothing tricks, I rocked, I got LOTS of sweet snuggles 🥰. In the end, we listened to baby and are going to try another day. It is absolutely ok to reschedule, as we are on baby’s time not ours. We want to get mommy and daddy the most precious shoot and memories we can.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!

These 2 southern beauties know how to celebrate.....creeks, laughs, watermelon. Making fun memories together. I love these 2 and love the smiles, laughs and fun they bring to every session we do.
