Class of 2027! I am starting to book Senior Sessions in October with photos guaranteed delivery in time for submission to your yearbook. We will put together a photo session that is all about you and how you want to remember this time in your life. Do you play a sport, like football? Do you play an instrument, like the drums? Traveling has been a passion of mine since high school. My "mind-lens" seems to be drawn to architectural features and quiet scenes. This was taken on one of my trips to Queretaro, Mexico. It is just so peaceful and I feel drawn into the scene again by the open door.

Surgery day ( finally) for my right foot! The wonderful Dr Matthew Jenkins @ Northern Montana Foot & Ankle Specialists pinned & plated my fractured navicular bone, fused my ankle in 3 places, and did a resection on my Gastonemus/Achilles tendon so my foot will now have a more normal, straight mechanical heel position and I won't won't overpronate. My right foot has been a pain point ever since I was 15, my arch hurting ao much I could barely walk after basketball and other sports. I had surgery then to remove an extra bone which helped but it has been a long struggle with lots of athletic tape anytime I played softball, basketball, volleyball well into my adult life.
I am still very numb from the nerve block and am ready for the pain to set in tomorrow. But I have wonderful Nurse Kylee and my sister Deanna taking care of me.
So....the long absolutely NO weightbearing at all begins.

A late-May engagement session for Lucas & Maya! West Glacier was the perfect spot for this delightful couple. Lucas contacted me early in the year for a surprise proposal but was having difficulty not giving her the ring the moment he got it! He ended up proposing earlier in the day up the Going-To-The-Sun road which was perfect. We were able to capture some beautiful photos later in the day. Thank you for letting me be a part of this special day! riice

The Martinez Family was my last session before my break. It was so much fun and easy to work with them and the baby! She wasn't necessarily into or "ready for her close-up" but with patience and laughter, we got it done!! Thank you for letting me capture this moment in time for you!

Early morning surprise proposal at Lake McDonald - Aiden & Annika! She was totally taken by surprise, even asking me to take a photo of them before the big question was popped! Delightful couple that will have many, many years of happy memories ahead.

A late May engagement session for Chadd & Logan in West Glacier area was such a fun night! It was such a treat to be able to do these photos for a cool couple and special work friend. I can't wait for your wedding in October!

Hello - It is with a very disappointed heart that I will be taking a break from portrait photography for the summer. I will be having foot surgery and won't be able to traipse around as I normally would. I will continue to post some photos from the past with some of what I think is interesting content! I will do my best to heal fast and get back on my feet and out & about again sometime in September. Thank you all for your support and kind thoughts!
