My nephew graduated high school this past weekend 🤯
Getting to take his senior photos was so special to me. It’s wild seeing someone you’ve watched grow up suddenly standing on the edge of adulthood.
We spent the day exploring some incredible spots around Rapid City, SD and making memories I’ll forever hold onto. We had a blast!

I’ve dreamed of having a photo studio for years. If you’re a client or friend of mine, you’ve probably heard me talk about it a time or two. That dream is happening friends! To be opening a studio in my hometown- I really can hardly believe it and am pinching myself every day that this is reality. I’m so grateful for all of you because without your support, I know this wouldn’t be possible.

I have BIG dreams for this space. Those dreams are beginning to take shape ✨

Sharing some favorites from last week ✨

Learning from was a dream. I’ve admired Jeff and Cat’s work for years and getting to learn from them first-hand was truly an incredible experience that I’ll never forget.
We learned about finding the light in any location even the not so glamorous ones (yes, some of these photos were taken in a literal dump area by our hotel) and making it interesting using composition and lighting. smarttt and .chan._ were incredible models to work with and they truly make these photos stand out.

Thank you for hosting events like these, it’s so needed in this industry. If you’re a photographer and you’ve never been to WPPI, YOU NEED TO.
Going to WPPI always lights my soul up and reminds me why I love this career and taking photographs.
