I’ve been sitting on this engagement session since MAY and I honestly don’t know why because I absolutely adore these two. 🤍

Their session started out cloudy, overcast and a little moody—which was already so pretty—but then the sun decided to peek through at the absolute perfect times and gave us the dreamiest golden hour light. ✨ And now I’m somehow even MORE excited for their Wedding day this November!!

They also brought an outfit change, which is something I will almost always recommend for engagement sessions. It gives you so much more variety in your final gallery and lets us create two completely different looks without needing another session.

And while we’re talking engagement photos… I will forever recommend doing your engagement session with the photographer who is photographing your Wedding.

It gives us a chance to actually get to know each other before the Wedding day, you get comfortable with how I direct and photograph you, and it basically becomes a little trial run for portraits. I get to learn what works best for the two of you, what feels natural, what makes you laugh, and what photographs beautifully for YOU.

So when your Wedding day comes around? You already know what to expect, we aren’t starting from square one, and portraits feel a whole lot more natural.

Plus… you walk away with killer engagement photos in the process.

Sarah + Tyler 💞🏰

Y’all, this is an emotional post for me to share.

For almost two years now, Sarah and I have traded photos for highlights in my hair. During that time, I’ve had the sweetest opportunity to watch her step into such a beautiful, loving relationship with Tyler—and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her this happy.

When I asked where she wanted to take photos this time and she said Bishop Castle, I already knew it was going to be a killer session. We had done her solo photos there before, so getting to return and photograph this chapter of her life with Tyler felt incredibly special.

But with everything happening around Bishop Castle right now, these photos suddenly hold so much more emotion than I ever expected.

Today marks one month since the Aspen Acres Fire began burning near Rye. The Bishop family was forced to evacuate the place they call home—a place their late father and husband, Jim Bishop, spent decades building with his own hands.

The castle is still standing, and I am incredibly thankful for that. But I also think it’s important to remember that this isn’t just a cool Colorado landmark or a beautiful backdrop for photos.

This is their home.

It represents their family, their memories and a lifetime of hard work. They had to leave without knowing what they would come back to, and I cannot imagine the fear and heartbreak that must have carried.

I think sometimes we unintentionally distance ourselves from tragedies like this because we weren’t the ones who had to evacuate. Our homes didn’t burn, and our lives weren’t turned upside down. But that doesn’t mean other people haven’t suffered—or aren’t still suffering.

These photos hold so much happiness, but sharing them now also feels incredibly emotional.

My heart and prayers are with the Bishop family, every family affected by the Aspen Acres Fire, and every firefighter and first responder who has worked tirelessly to protect these communities.

May we never take the safety of home for granted. 🤍

Becca + Hayden 💍🤍

50 DAYS until these two say “I do” at one of my favorite venues in Colorado… and somehow I’m just now sharing their engagement photos?! Absolutely criminal because this morning in Breckenridge was pure magic.

Also… do yourself a favor and scroll closer to the end to see the sweetest way they wrapped up their session. It’s very them and I’m obsessed.

I met Becca + Hayden through the sweetest little domino effect of friendships. After photographing a surprise proposal last June, my name got passed along to Becca after they had a not-so-great engagement photo experience the first time around. Jacinda sent her my way with the kindest recommendation, and I will forever be grateful she did.

Because getting to photograph these two was such a gift.

Their engagement session was one of those mornings that just felt easy in the best way. Mountain views, the sweetest love, so much laughter, and two people who are just genuinely so good together. Becca + Hayden have this calm, kind, “you’re instantly comfortable around them” kind of love — and it shows in every single photo.

And somewhere along the way, Becca became more than just one of my brides… she became a dear friend. She’s been one of those unexpected blessings God placed in my life, and honestly, knowing these two is knowing two of the kindest people you could ever have in your corner.

I’m counting down the days until their July wedding, and I already know it’s going to be one of those days that feels extra special from start to finish.

Still in a bit of a dream over here that I got the honor of getting to take some portraits during the Bride and Groom portraits for the Vejvoda Wedding back in March while doing some content creation as well for

Esther has been a really good friend of mine for several years now, and honestly she chose such a good man of God to marry and spend the rest of her life with. Seeing for the first time how they interact with each other was truly one of the best things about being apart of her Wedding day.

T & K at it again… but make it Canada Cherry Blossoms edition 🇨🇦✨

I flew out for a really good friend’s wedding and ended up staying with these two… and honestly, what better thank you than gifting them a couples shoot?? A win-win if you ask me 🤪

Kirsten had ONE vision: cherry blossoms.

So we chased it.

First spot? Total flop. Like… drove 12 minutes, got out, looked around, and immediately said “nope” but gave it a shot anyway

But we weren’t giving up that easy for a better spot

After some digging, we found the spot… set alarms way too early… and made it happen before I had to cross back into the States to catch my flight out of Seattle.

And you guys… it was SO worth it.

The softest morning light, zero crowds, just them being fully in their moment… the kind of session that doesn’t feel forced or posed, just real.

Those are the photos you end up loving forever.

Not because everything went perfectly…
…but because you were present in it.

Easily one of my favorite Canada trips yet (5 years in a row and it just keeps getting better 🥹)

It’s going to go by so fast.
Like… the moments you’ve been dreaming about for months?

The moment I walked into Carolina’s bridal suite, I knew this day was going to feel different.
No rushing. No chaos.
Just her, fully present, soaking in every second with her girls.
And then her dad turned around…
The look on his face said everything.
Zach seeing her for the first time?
Yeah… I was fighting back tears right along with them.
