I love creating images that capture who your child is right now while still feeling timeless enough to live on the walls of your home for decades.

There’s something about the relationship between siblings that deserves to be documented exactly as it is right now.

The closeness. The personalities. The way they fit together at this particular age—before they grow another few inches and everything changes again.

When I photograph children, I want to create more than a beautiful portrait. I want to capture the relationships within your family in a way that feels genuine, while still creating something polished and beautiful enough to become artwork for your home.

We take care of wardrobe, styling, set design and all of the details that bring the finished portrait together. Your job is simply to bring me the people you love.

The hardest part of family photos shouldn’t be getting your family ready for them.

What will everyone wear? Will the colors work together? What if the kids don’t cooperate? What am I supposed to do with my hands?

Those are things I don’t want my clients worrying about.

Our family portrait experience is designed to take as much of the planning off your plate as possible. We help with wardrobe and styling, offer professional hair and makeup, plan the session around the artwork you want to create, and guide your family throughout the entire shoot.

And no, your children do not need to be perfectly behaved.

Some of my favorite portraits happen in the moments between the poses—when everyone relaxes and I get to photograph the relationships that make your family yours.

Beautiful family portraits shouldn't feel like another thing on your to-do list. We want the experience of creating them to be just as special as the finished artwork.

Your newborn photographs don’t have to look like everyone else’s.

One of my favorite parts of designing a session is creating something specifically for your family—choosing the colors, textures, florals, wardrobe and details that turn a portrait of your baby into a piece of art.

Our studio has collected hundreds of props, fabrics, gowns and styling pieces over the years, which means we can create something completely different for every client.

You don’t have to bring the props. You don’t have to shop for outfits. You don’t even have to know exactly what you want.

We’ll design it together.

Because when these photographs are going to hang in your home for years, they should feel like they were created for *your* home and *your* family.

Someday, your baby will want to see you, too.

Not just the photographs you took of them. Not just the milestones you carefully documented. They’ll want to see the way you held them, the way they fit against you, and what you looked like when they were impossibly small.

That’s one of the reasons photographs of mothers with their babies are such an important part of every newborn session I create.

And I know being photographed shortly after having a baby can feel intimidating. That’s why we take care of the details—from professional hair and makeup to wardrobe, flattering lighting and gentle direction throughout your session.

You don’t have to feel “photo ready” when you arrive.

You simply have to show up.

The details you never want to forget.

The tiny fingers curled together. Those perfect little lips. Wispy eyelashes. Even the way their hands somehow always seem to find their face.

These are the things that change before you’re ready.

During a newborn session, I always make time for the close-up details alongside the beautifully styled portraits and family photographs. Because someday, these may be the images that take you right back to what it felt like to hold your brand-new baby.
