They hold stories, carry meaning, and become little pieces of a day that means everything. The rings that symbolize a forever promise, the vows that hold the words they’ll speak to one another, the flowers, the handwritten notes, and all the little things that make their day theirs.

I love starting wedding days here, slowing down long enough to photograph these pieces before the day unfolds. Because one day, these details will bring them right back to the beginning of it all🤍

Some wedding days mean a little more, and this one will forever hold such a special place in my heart.🤎

I’ve grown up with this family, and for the last 8 years, Sydney has been my right-hand girl off and on. I’ve gotten to see so many seasons of her life, so to finally see her have her moment as a bride was something I’ll never forget. Getting to stand beside her in this season and capture the beginning of this next chapter felt like such a full-circle moment.

A backyard wedding on family land, right beside her grandma’s house, where Sydney and Carson will now begin their forever in a home they’ve made their own and filled with so many memories. There’s just something extra special about getting to start a marriage in a place that already holds so much love and history.🤍

I love her dearly, and there is something so special about watching someone you love find their forever best friend to do life with. I couldn’t be happier for Sydney and Carson and the life they’re building together.

And God couldn’t have hand-picked a more beautiful fall day for it all. M🍂

To be trusted not only with a camera, but in so many capacities and in so many meaningful moments throughout the years, is an honor I’ll never take lightly. This one was so much more than a wedding day. It was personal, it was full of love, and it’s one I’ll carry with me for a long, long time.🤍

Intimate, intentional, surrounded by their closest family, and filled with all the western charm they envisioned. There was something so special about a day that didn’t need a big crowd to mean everything. Just their favorite people and a day that felt so true to them.

Today’s bridal feature is for the girls🤍

Because yes, your wedding day is about marrying the love of your life, but there’s also something so special about looking around and realizing you’re surrounded by your girls — the ones who have loved you through so many seasons.

Some have been there since childhood, growing up right alongside you. Some may have only been in your life for a few years, but somehow it feels like a lifetime. They’re the ones making you laugh until your stomach hurts, calming you when you need it, fixing your dress, holding your bouquet, keeping you on schedule, and quite literally being your right-hand girls through the entire day.

And honestly, that kind of friendship is something worth celebrating too.

Your bridesmaids get to stand beside you on one of the biggest days of your life, but they’ve also been beside you through the whole season leading up to it — the excitement, the planning, the happy tears, the chaos and everything in between.
