Brooklyn is a woman of strength, resilience, intelligence, compassion, and heart. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisiana, she volunteered with Hearts of Hope, where she discovered her passion for serving survivors. After graduating, she joined the organization full-time as a forensic interviewer, continuing in that role through part of graduate school.
In December 2026, Brooklyn earned her Master's degree in Counseling and returned to Hearts of Hope as a Sexual Abuse Response Center Counselor and the Program Manager for the Child Advocacy Center. She also serves as a Certified School Counselor and is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor.
For Brooklyn, the survivors are the reason she does this work. They come from every background, faith, culture, and family system, yet they share a common commitment to healing. She is continually inspired by their courage, resilience, and unwavering determination to move forward. Their grit, hope, and strength remind her every day why this work matters and reinforce her commitment to walking alongside them on their journey toward healing.
It was such an honor to welcome Brooklyn to our studio for her headshots. She was a natural in front of the camera, and her warmth and confidence made the session effortless. In between photos, I also discovered another one of her incredible talents—she's an amazing singer! Spending time with her was a reminder that some people shine just as brightly off camera as they do in front of it. Thank you, Brooklyn, for the work you do and for allowing us to capture this exciting chapter in your journey.

Had a hot, hot evening photographing this beautiful couple! Blaire and Jordy definitely brought the heat too. 🔥
I had the privilege of photographing Blaire back in high school, and now getting to witness her find love and capture this next milestone in her life is such an incredible honor. She is just as beautiful today as she was then—a woman who is genuinely herself, lights up every room with her radiant smile, and carries a quiet, bold strength that inspires those around her.
Jordy is one lucky man to have such a strong, beautiful woman by his side, and it's easy to see how much these two complement one another. Their love, laughter, and connection made this session one to remember.

Alivia is the definition of an all-American beauty. From cheering, shooting, hunting, softball, track, academics, and her faith, she is a busy young lady who truly does it all. Beyond her natural beauty, Alivia has such a kind and genuine heart, making her an absolute joy to photograph.
I had the privilege of photographing her brother last year, so it was such an honor to work with the Hornsby family from Lake Arthur once again. Watching families return over the years is one of the greatest blessings of what I do. Thank you, Hornsbys, for trusting me to capture another special milestone. ❤️

Jaxon Owens will be graduating from Teurlings and heading to UL to study Kinesiology. His interest in the field was sparked by a back injury he endured while playing football—an experience that gave him a deeper understanding of the body and a desire to help others. He says playing football holds some of his greatest high school memories.
Jaxon is one of those young men you can’t help but describe as a “good ole boy.” He’s genuine, humble, kind, and incredibly well-mannered. The kind of person who leaves a lasting impression without even trying. It’s clear he is the apple of his parents’ eyes—and after spending time with him, it’s easy to see why.
I look forward to seeing all the greatness that lies ahead for Jaxon.
