Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there!♥️

This Mother’s Day is extra special as my best friend from college has officially announced her pregnancy!! Getting to not only be a friend, but someone to document the milestones of my loved one’s lives means the world to me. We toured their cute new house, took some photos, and ended with grill cheese sandwiches and a yap session! Their future baby will be so well loved.

These capture the playful and caring nature of Molly and Zach. It feels like only yesterday we all were at U of I together🥹

I’m in awe of all those I know raising the next generation and living out their lives to the fullest! I personally can’t keep a plant alive so it may be a little while until I join the club (lol).

Gabi & Karla’s City Hall Elopement🤍

On a sunny summer day surrounded by close loved ones, they got married at City Hall and a photo session at The Art Institute followed! Karla and Gabi have such a calm and caring presence to them. Like friends you’ve known for a while, though to be fair, I had photographed them with their doodle Bailey a few times before this. Wrangling an energized dog for Santa photos together does build some level of trust lol. This allows their photos to look natural and highlight their love.

As always, I was grateful for them believing in me to document this special memory for them. It’s an honor. Congratulations to you both and many loving happy years to come!🤍

Love a venue with some personality! This wedding felt like it was straight out of a fairytale💕

One of my favorite things about wedding photography is getting to use my creativity to intertwine telling the story of your special day in a way that incorporates the uniqueness of the venue backdrop(s) you’ve chosen!

While a walkthrough beforehand is not always possible, I like to scope out the space upon arrival and get your input on what areas call to you. Sometimes the way the lighting hits a certain spot will guide us there too!

This wedding was second shot for the amazing . I’ll have to share a part 2 with the couples photos!

The snow is kind of pretty when it’s not accompanied by below -0 windchill, am I right?

Lydia & Danny held an intimate New Year’s Day wedding in Central Park on top of a snowy rocky hill, perfectly connected to how they met — mountain climbing. Complete with matching bride and groom earmuffs🤍

Hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays!❤️

Photographing Ashley and Neil at Grand Central Station was a blast. They were troopers as we met at 9am to beat some of the crowds! Having never photographed here before, it was exciting to push my creativity in a new environment. They were so easygoing and some laughs were shared over the interactions one witnesses at North America’s 3rd busiest train station. Not to mention, NYC’s first snowfall of the year made a guest appearance for photos.

I’ve now been in NYC for the last two weeks and will be back to Chicago soon. It’s been energizing to witness this city around the holidays! I’ve loved exploring, trying many food spots, reconnecting with friends here, seeing theater shows (have tomorrow!), and spending some time reflecting on myself and the year. I know I don’t always share much of what I’m up to personally, which I’d like to be better about in 2026, but honestly I just enjoy living in the moment and sharing when I get a second😊

A little moment for the bridal details!🤍 While wedding days are a celebration of the couple, a bride’s wedding fashion is one way she gets to express herself individually.

With thousands of wedding dress styles out there, I love being able to document the dress that ultimately calls to the bride. A dress that allows her to comfortably and confidently celebrate the day.

My photography approach aims to further enhance a bride’s expression of herself through catering portrait guidance that is unique to her personality and the vibe that she’d like to achieve with her wedding day. This is only possible through the deep understanding I establish with my clients. There is much thought into every decision and I’d love to photograph it in a way that brings that vision to life.

It’s such an exciting time of year as many couples are getting engaged! Photographing the joy, romance, and pure giddiness between two people in love is one of my greatest honors as a photographer. Engagement sessions have become a favorite of mine because they inspire creative collaboration, true-to-you posing, and a natural connection that often grows into genuine friendship.

I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for event photography. There’s something special about quietly observing moments unfold. Capturing eruptions of laughter, thoughtfully crafted decor, and bottling up the unique energy that fills a space into my photographs.
