Have you ever seen the rain?

Metra 525, Metra’s America 250 locomotive, is seen leading extra train 599 in a near-torrential downpour. The extra is bringing two Illinois Central passenger cars back to the Illinois Railway Museum in Union. They’re seen here headed west through West Chicago, Illinois on the afternoon of August 9, 2026.
