One thing I care deeply about as a Northwest Indiana Photographer is helping families move their memories out of digital storage and into their everyday lives because I truly think photographs change when they become tangible.

A printed image hanging in your home becomes part of your family’s legacy and your kiddos will grow up seeing reminders that they are loved, connected, and part of a place they belong.

That’s why my client experience doesn’t end with delivering a gallery. I guide families through creating custom artwork and heirloom pieces designed intentionally for their homes and the stories they want surrounding them on a daily basis.

As a family photographer in Porter County Indiana, my goal is not only to simply take beautiful photos, but to create lasting art from them that matters years from now.

In this world where thousands of images disappear into "the cloud", printed photographs still hold incredible power and value!!!

This is why I love what I do so. darn. much.

"Here's to you. You were pink or blue and everything I wanted." 🤍

Every session is customized for every unique and wonderful client. Although I try to keep things pretty classic, I love intertwining little themes here and there. This little guy's parents were apart for dad's job for much of mom's pregnancy so they wrote the sweetest letters to eachother. They are also hike/campers so I wanted to incorporate that too.

I LOVE all of the sweet stories that come into the studio & it's a true blessing to bring them to life through photographs. ✨️

When the baby becomes the mama. 🤍

I had a phone snapshot of a portrait that this beautiful mom sent of her with her mom that she really wanted to recreate at our session. So we did just that.

And then I had an idea. 💡

I couldn't believe how almost exact we got the posing (shout out to dad for assisting me with that too. 😉) and how much mom and daughter resemble eachother in adulthood. 😍 Seeing that struck an extra creative bone in me & I brought both photos into editing to experiment. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Little projects like this make my nostalgic heart soar... I hope it causes yours to as well! ✨️

Lately I've been realizing that choosing a few favorite captures when I've completed a session is almost impossible.

I'm thoroughly convinced that spending quality time with my awesome families and really honing in on what they need in the realms of comfort and guidance during our sessions just allows the final product to shine that much brighter. ✨️

It feels wonderful to be in this place as an artist & business owner. Doing things my own way... and scrolling through adorable photos like this make me savor it that much more!
