From the moment I laid eyes on Brooke and Mason, I dreamed of photographing their wedding... what a creep, right? ā

Zero shame, though, because they were absolutely lost in each other, dancing at his sisterās wedding like they were the only two people in the world. Their love was so tangible & I knew Iād love them before I even knew them. ā
ā
Sure enough, they were engaged the following year. And from our first meeting spent chit-chatting over Zoom, all my assumptions were instantaneously confirmed. Brooke was my favorite kind of human. ā
ā
A confident, self-proclaimed āweird girlā ā
who was unapologetically herself. ā
Outgoing, intentional, hilarious, and kind. ā
A friend to everyone she met. ā
And so insanely funny. ā
ā
In that first meeting, she even told me about how she longed and hoped to be a mom one day, too. ā
ā
Meeting these two was such a gift. Photographing their love and being part of their wedding was an absolute dream for me. They gave me grace upon grace as I spent our video meetings casually bouncing on an exercise ball to combat pregnancy induced hypertension.... and didnāt think twice when I said I needed to bring a whole (incredible) team alongside me to help photograph their day. ā

I was seven months pregnant when they got married, and so nervous I wouldnāt be able to do their love story the justice it deserved.ā

BUT we made it happen. By the grace of God, we did it. And it was such a beautiful, perfect day for two beautiful people. ā
ā
Fast forward to today & this sweet bride and groom are now (very anxiously) awaiting the arrival of their first baby. Like, literally ANY day now. And Iām just pinching myself that Iāve got to watch this all come full circle.ā
ā
This baby doesnāt know it yet, but he truly hit the parent jackpot. I say that about all of my couples when they start their families... but I really mean it. My couples are the best people in the world, and thereās nothing I adore more than watching their love grow. ā
