Stunningly beautiful Grace had senior pictures last night! It was amazing weather with the most gorgeous locations, just perfect for her. We had great lighting outside, but I also think we captured her inner light. 🤩

Remember when I said this year all the kids came back as new people? Exhibit... what are we up to, now, J?! Beautiful, as always! I love how all the new heights in these families keep me on my toes in posing them nicely. 😂 I just LOVED my time with these guys again.

Michaela and Bullet! ❤ It does not get sweeter or more beautiful than this! Michaela has dreamed of having her own horse since she was a kid, and now she and Bullet were magically brought together - there is so much love between these two.

This is the year that everybody's kids grew up a LOT. Many of my clients have kids close to the same ages, and they all showed up this year as completely new people! It's the most wonderful kind of shock. I loved seeing this beautiful family again - here are some new favorites of them! 😍

What a lovely, brisk fall night with this beautiful family! It was SO fun to meet them and take their pictures. I am eternally grateful for the kindred spirits that somehow find their way to me!

This family needed no special urging to get close and feel the LOVE! And look how beautiful they are. 😍 So fun to see them again. It's only been a couple of years but the girls have grown and matured SO much! ❤️❤️ But my favorite part of the whole time was when I showed the youngest daughter a picture I took of her and she said, "Who knew I could look so CUTE?!" Well, 1) I did, and 2) I am so happy she sees it too. We should all walk away from our photo shoots saying exactly that.

Such a beautiful and sweet family, and I really can't believe how these kids have grown up since the last time. Like, I thought the parents may have grabbed the wrong kids on the way to their session (they didn't, I checked). Funny how the parents hardly change but the kids... wow! But, what doesn't change is that they are always as sweet as they are beautiful (and stylish! They consistently pick the best outfits!).

Nailed it AGAIN! Look at this BEAUTIFUL family at their latest session last night. So fun to see Baby Frankie as a one-year old 😮 and Winnie is so, so big now. Clearly these children are the best-trained, most adorable, and dearly LOVED little models. And a shout out to the super-sweet photographer wandering by with the cute green chair, who was so generous in offering to let us use it while she waited for her own clients. Thank you, kind stranger! (It really was the perfect chair and now of course I need one of my own.) It was the loveliest night; the rain even held off until the very second we were done.

Beautiful, sweet Amelia had senior pictures last night! I am guessing that when she scheduled her photo shoot 3 months ago for October 10, she was NOT expecting it to be 93*F outside. But... it was. Some years on October 10 we have a snowstorm. This weekend... a heat wave and crazy wind. She wanted all nature backgrounds, mostly woods and water, for her senior pictures. And nature did not disappoint! I have several favorite woodsy, watery spots right by my studio that are really pretty, especially right now. She looks so lovely in her element!
