For me, photography doesn't end when I press the shutter.

I've spent a lot of time searching for products that feel as intentional as the portraits themselves...museum-quality fine art papers, handcrafted presentation boxes, archival materials, and wall art that's meant to be lived with for generations.

The goal has never been to deliver "photos" and certainly not just files.

It's to create pieces you'll actually want to display in your home and enjoy long after the session is over.

When most people think about printed photographs, they think of a frame on the wall. But there are so many beautiful ways to preserve and enjoy your images.

This is one of my favorites.

It’s called a Legacy Box. Handcrafted in Italy, it holds matted fine art prints and the lid can be customized with your favorite portrait printed from edge to edge. In fact, the entire box is customizable, comes with a false bottom to secure your heirloom treasures, and serves as a beautiful keepsake long after your session is over.

I love sharing products like this because I think people deserve to know what’s possible beyond a digital gallery.

Over the past year, I've spent a lot of time studying fashion and editorial photography. At first glance, it might not seem like that has much to do with family portraits, but to me, it has everything to do with them.

Fashion taught me to see light differently. It taught me to be more intentional with composition, posing, and the small details that can elevate an image.

Last week, I took what I've learned, left the comfort and control of an indoor studio, and stepped out into the unpredictability of Golden Hour.

This was my first family session at Wing Haven Garden in Charlotte, and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful family or a more beautiful evening. I'm excited to continue building this part of my business and creating portraits that I hope families will enjoy today and pass down for generations.
