NEW GALLERY!!!
It’s time for another gallery show and we’re super excited to announce that our next gallery show will be with our friend Connor Poore! Connor is a dedicated street, portrait, and travel photographer here in Charlotte. We love his attitude and output, as well as his love for experimenting with film, and his show, On the Banks of the River, will be here at The Photo Outfitters on September 3rd from 7-9. Come on out to show Connor some love and spend some time with your community! BE THERE!!!

Man, the writeup this thing got online PetaPixel was painful... But photography is one of the most gadget-y hobbies on the planet, and the C100 is certainly a gadget.

It's low res. The video has an older than old school look. It doesn't have a flash (Godox no flash?). It shouldn't be taken seriously. It's not for everyone. But.... In a world of clinically perfect and sometimes too good this brings the fun. The meter is accurate enough, 4x6 prints look OK, IG likes it, and if it breaks or gets lost it's less than $50 bucks.

It’s time for another gallery show and we’re beyond excited to announce that our next gallery show will be with our very good friend Jalen Marlowe! Marlowe is a well-known figure in the Charlotte photography community, but for those of you unfortunate enough not to have encountered him yet, he is an amazing photographer who is well-versed in the worlds of documentary, portraiture, and (more and more lately) sports photography. He is extremely dedicated and a master storyteller, and his show, Rookie Card, will be here at The Photo Outfitters on August 20th from 6-8. Come on out to show Marlowe some love and spend some time with your community! BE THERE!!!

It’s time for another Print Swap!! This is easily one of our favorite events, and if you’ve attended one already, you understand why. Like always, the doors will open at 6, with the swap beginning at 7, and there are perks for arriving early. The details are the same as before:

• Everyone MUST bring 3 prints
• The prints cannot exceed 12”x18”
• If you wish to participate, you MUST arrive by 7
• If we are printing your photos for the swap, we MUST have them BEFORE the 4th
• We ask that y’all please not bring frames, just the prints themselves

If you made it to one of our swaps before, you know what to expect, but if you haven’t, we hope to see you on the 4th! Come out to The Photo Outfitters for Charlotte’s original Print Swap, a night of community and celebration of the printed medium. And if you can’t make it, don’t worry; there’ll definitely be another one!
