You want your get ready photos to look timeless and classic …

+ then you find me and my page🕊️

I had the sweetest time documenting .wer .walz on their wedding day. Think of everything classic and timeless. That’s how the day felt. And that’s how their love feels too. 🕊️

More pics of the day to come soon 🥺🫶🏻

Bake bread and build a home with him. You won’t look back.
Believe it or not, my favorite photo sessions in Scotland were not the grand rolling cliffs or the calm blue ocean engulfing the land. It wasn’t hiking up an hour to the top of a mountain nor the Harry Potter steam train the encompasses the vibes of Scotland … but instead it was simply spending a quiet morning in the Airbnb of a cozy cottage that forced me to document beauty in the mundane + not out of the extraordinary creation (though there is a time for that too). I loved all sessions. I truly did. Each one had its own story and beauty. But this slow morning spent in the kitchen baking bread was the sweetest of reminders that it doesn’t matter where you go to take photos. It’s who you spend it with that makes photos feel magical, romantic, and precious. That’s why something so simple like breaking bread in these photos feels special because of the love between two human beings.

Thank you for having a beautiful lovestory to capture. Your love is felt in the photos and through this session. And a huge thanks for who set up the most spectacular photo sessions and retreat in the breath taking country of Scotland. My heart is full. And my imagination is renewed. 🌷

Fall in love again and again with your photos is 100% my goal as your photographer. No doubt about it.

Have I won you over? 🫢

📮Letter #1: your guest photos
💌To: Bride

Here’s what I wish I did at my wedding. Take it or leave it. I just thought you should know … remembering your guests are important but sometimes as a bride we forget who shows up.

It’s not because our guests aren’t memorable. But it’s because we lose track of precious time. We have a lot going on that runs in our minds on the wedding day (especially without a wedding coordinator)! We are constantly being pulled from one direction to another direction. From one thing we have to do to the next. And by the time you know it, the night is already over.

Other times, it’s because we lose track of who took those photos and where they end up if we had any in the first place. We could end taking a bunch of photos with our guests on their phones. Sometimes we’ll see them post it up and tag us. And sometimes we’ll don’t. And sometimes not everyone had the chance to take a picture with us. Or we put in the effort to have a welcome line ready for every guest to hug us after the ceremony except—no pictures were taken because all of us were too busy saying hi. For some of us who are lucky, we may have a beautiful backdrop designated for guest photos with everyone, but it takes at least 45 minutes for each individual person, couple, and family to take the pictures with us. And so our smiles end up twitching in pain when the night is over.

But I’m here to help you prevent all those things from happening though. I have a solution to all it.

The truth is, this moment with these very precious people who have come from all seasons of your life only gather every so often like this. So you should make the most of it. Be intentional and creatively smart about how to document everyone that attended your wedding in photos that’ll never fade like how the memories in our heads do. And so here’s just one of the ideas of how you can take fleeting moments of life and preserve them for forever. 💡

Sincerely,
your wedding photographer 🕊️

Don’t let the rain fool you of its cinematic charm 🌧️

If you want to elope or take the most stunning photos in the Scottish Highlands, I just want to tell you that Scotland has crazy bi-polar weather. 😅 It rains and pours. Then the sun will peek out of the clouds just for a little bit. And then it retreats as it begins pouring some more. I used to be scared of taking pictures in the rain because I wasn’t sure how they’d turn out. To be honest most photographers get worried about shorting in the rain. So I was nervous for my camera body getting soaked and also for clients who may have expectations to shoot in sunny weather. But this day showed me otherwise. Let me tell you: There’s actually SO MUCH BEAUTY in following through and shooting on rainy days. I’d argue it’s more cinematic 🎞️

Tips for shooting in rain:

🌧️ Bring an umbrella as a creative prop if you want to mainly stay dry

🌧️ Wear durable and waterproof boots !! My fav is . Your clothes will get wet which is totally fine. It’s part of the rainy experience, but I’d say that the one important thing that should stay dry to keep your session comfy still is your feet!

🌧️ You’re going to get drenched in rain. But it’s OKAY. That’s what makes your session fun. Embrace the rain and your carefree joy will show in your photos. Everyone’s gonna want to take photos next after seeing yours 🫶🏻

Having scottish spring fever with you sounds fun right now ~
Had the most adventurous carefree session with in the Scottish highlands at Wee White House 🥺. It rained ALL day and was freezing cold, but I definitely learned how to shoot in any weather condition. And to be honest the rain adds in a totally different cinematic vibe that adds SOOOO MUCH to this story. Also a huge thank you for creating the dreamiest photography retreat with the most magical styled sessions ever. 🤍🕊️

Anyone want to elope or travel to Scotland to take more romantic photos like these?! Let’s make it happen !!! 🤩
