There’s a lot that goes into capturing the perfect moment, but it all starts with where you put your subject!

The three things I’m looking for when I’m choosing where to put my clients:

1️⃣ Really good lighting. Above almost everything else, good light really can make or break an image.

2️⃣ The background. I don’t want to spend hours photoshopping stuff out of the background of a photo and I don’t want anything taking the attention off my subject.

3️⃣ Bokeh aka the soft/out of focus area of your image. This creates dimension and helps separate your subject from the background. I love a really soft, dreamy background so I try to keep my subject a good distance away from the background.
