Had a great gig earlier today for Exceptional Possibilities WV as they partnered with Patriot Guardens to host an Adaptive gardening event.

With permission from his parent, I am sharing this photo where a young, curious and enthusiastic kiddo attempted to help me as I made a couple images of his sister using an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Device to communicate with her mother.

I love working with each of my non-profit community partners to help advance their causes, but there is just something about the joy you get when you see these kids able to interact with their outside world in ways that bring them joy and help them to experience a level of autonomy.

When Michelle Robinson shared this image with me, my heart exploded with joy. I am so happy for the memories we get to experience with these exceptional children.

Look for the gallery of images soon. I have finished editing them and have delivered them to the organization.

Thanks also to West Virginia Assistive Technology - WVATS for suggesting this sort of program for these exceptional kiddos! And for providing a lending library of adaptive tools at Patriot Gardens! How stellar!
