Date night in Hampden, Cajun style. 🍤

The Baltimore Chef Shop is one of my favorite spots in the city, and their couples cooking classes never disappoint.

This time we cooked our way through Louisiana: blackened fish, crawfish étouffée, braised greens, citrus salad, dirty rice, and spice cake to finish. Cooking side by side, tasting as we go, then sitting down to a meal we made together. Hard to beat.

Registration is for two, so if you’re still figuring out what to get your person this holiday season, this one’s a winner. Save this for your gift list. 💕

One year ago yesterday, A&W said “I do” in Beaufort, and I still smile every time I scroll through this gallery 💕

The laughing down the aisle. A wedding party who couldn’t keep a straight face. All that blue and white that felt so completely them. And then golden hour on the water, a few quiet minutes on the dock with just the two of them before the party took over.

Happy first anniversary, you two. Thank you for trusting me with a day I’ll never forget. Here’s to a lifetime more.

I’ve photographed over 150+ weddings in five and a half years, and the longer I do this, the less I believe a wedding day exists in a bubble.

The couples in front of my camera, the laws that let them stand there, the cost of the gear I carry, the families who show up for them.

All of it is shaped by decisions made far outside the venue.

I’m not here to tell anyone how to vote.
