I’m Ava, the face behind Ava Charrlin Photography.
I’m a New Mexico native, horse girl, turquoise lover, and someone who’s always looking for an excuse to explore somewhere new. I love natural light, old architecture, western landscapes, and the way a place can completely change the feeling of a photograph.
When it comes to weddings, I’m drawn to the moments that make a day feel like its own little world. The anticipation before the ceremony, the movement of a dress in the wind, the way the light falls across a room, and the moments in between that you never want to forget.
My work blends honest storytelling with an editorial approach. I want your photographs to feel lived-in and effortless, with a sense of place and an attention to the little things that make your story yours. Images that bring you back to not only how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.
Whether it’s a wedding in the New Mexico landscape or a celebration somewhere across the world, I’m drawn to places with character, meaningful moments, and stories worth remembering.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you can usually find me at the barn with my horse or planning my next adventure.
