Such a great evening!!! Thanks for having me, Paramount Theatre - Cedar Rapids!

10/26/2026

It’s been quite a week!

This past Tuesday, my wife and I attended opening night of the DMPA - Des Moines Performing Arts Willis Broadway Series season opener of Spamalot. Absolutely HILARIOUS!

The following night on Wednesday, I had the pleasure of capturing some BTS photos and tech/dress photos of the yearly collaborative production between mycfct, Waterloo Community Playhouse 🎭, Gallagher Bluedorn, and wcfsymphony. This year’s show was Young Frankenstein. AMAZINGLY talented cast!

The next night, Thursday, I captured a few photos of Sugarland for CREventsLive! at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse.

Then on Friday, it was another FNL for me, covering the conference game between Clear Lake and West Delaware varsity football teams for the The Gazette Sports. Bonus was running into a former third grade student of mine I had not seen in years. It was her senior night, so I even got to capture photos of her and her mom on the field during the recognition of seniors. I also got to run into a couple of former coworkers from my teaching days!

Sunday night, I was back at it for CREventsLive!, but this time at the Paramount Theatre - CR in CR. After capturing a few photos of the Q & A session with David Arquette (after the screening of the movie Scream), it was into the VIP room to photograph fans for the meet & greet with David. Such an incredibly nice guy, and great with his fans!

Such an incredible week behind the camera!
