Heidi's husband of 10 years, Troy, is one of the wittiest fellows around! With a desire to

be fair and consistent he always takes extra time to educate each and every client on the products offered. Troy manages all the image files and its his job to complete the portrait process. His thorough and particular qualities make him an especially talented retoucher- which our clients rave about! Heidi and Troy's dedication to the craft of photography shines through in every portrait they create. The Eifferts have given back to the industry through instructing at college level, participating in platform lectures and hands-on workshops across the country and by serving on the PPI board of directors, PPA council & HCC advisory board. Heidi and Troy have received their Photographic Masters, Craftsman and CPP degrees from the Professional Photographers of America. They have two small children, Beckett (age 4) and Audra (age 1).

Troy’s version of a windmill? He’s naughty, but entertaining and no one was hurt in the making of this video, lol! We are deep in the farm game this week. Creating branding and documentation for the launch of a new company that will debut at the Farm Progress show this September in Boone, Iowa. Today a plough crew from England arrives and we get to capture steam engines doing their thing in the fields. Is this heaven, no it’s Iowa!

I started the day by framing these beautiful heirloom canvas portraits (my favorite studioU finish) in these custom frames, perfectly matched to our client’s main living area. I can’t wait to get these pieces of art on their walls! Gah, it’s just the best!

If sunshine ☀️ was a person it would be Charley, she’s walking radiance (I’m pretty sure that trait came from her momma, or perhaps Alan too?! 🤭).

She’s the kind of person who walks into a room and everything brightens. She’s strong, driven, smart, a fierce volleyball player and full of the kind of confidence that doesn’t demand attention—it simply shines.

What makes that light even more remarkable is knowing it has continued to shine through hardships that could have dimmed it.

What a gift it has been to witness the young woman she’s become. The world needs more people who choose joy, Charley keeping shining your rays! 💛
