Choosing only 20 of our favorite moments from our time in Cedar Island and Emerald Isle felt next to impossible, truly, but here we are 🎞️
Cedar Island, NC is nestled at the northernmost tip of Carteret County, on the Pamlico Sound. It’s perfectly located halfway between Emerald Isle on the Crystal Coast and Ocracoke Island, the southernmost piece of the Outer Banks. In fact, there’s a heated debate between locals and tourists both on whether or not Cedar Island is considered a part of the Outer Banks. It’s still on HWY 12 and there are signs welcoming you to the Outer Banks… so, what do you think? 📍To be fair, we see both sides and adore both areas, but kinda think we lean on the side of yes it is!?
Cedar Island Ranch is what brought us to the area and we have nothing but high praises to sing about our time there- stay tuned for allll of our thoughts on the next post where we share a glimpse into the project we put together with them. It’s beautiful, special, and we’re already planning our return trip. Speaking of beautiful places, we were about an hour drive from Emerald Isle and while we had been there before, it will forever be one of our favorite beaches on the North Carolina coast. They don’t call it the Crystal Coast for nothin’ ✨
We couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to kick off our first trip and will forever be grateful for the connections + memories made. Thank you Jesus for these opportunities, we are endlessly grateful!! 🤍🎥🌊
