Congratulations to Miranda Aleshire, the winning photographer of our Budget Book Cover Art Contest! She won $250 for the rights to her picture and will be recognized on the interior cover.

Members of the public submitted their favorite Morehead City pictures, which were then utilized in an online contest where you were able to vote for your favorite.

Interested in attending the upcoming City Council's budget workshops? They will be held in City Hall Council Chambers, at 1100 Bridges St., on:
-Tuesday, May 12, from 2-5 p.m.
-Tuesday, May 19, from 2-5 p.m.
-Tuesday, June 2, from 2-5 p.m.
-Public Hearing on the budget at the Tuesday, June 9 meeting at 5:30 p.m.
