I often wonder what stories horses would tell if they could speak.
The pastures they've grazed, the storms they've stood through, the miles they've carried and the people they've watched come and go.
They witness so much of our lives without ever saying a word.
They see our victories and our heartbreaks, they carry us through seasons we never thought we'd survive, they greet us on the days when the world feels heavy and ask for nothing more than our presence in return.
Yet they can never tell us their story.
They can't explain what they remember, what they've endured, or how they see the world around them. Instead, they tell us through quiet moments, soft eyes, steady footsteps and a love that asks for little and gives so much.
Perhaps that's why we love them so deeply.
Because while they may never tell us their story, they spend their entire lives helping us write ours.
