Introducing The Mapston’s ☀️💍

Riley & Mike headed down to San Diego to say “I Do” & I had the privilege to come along & document the best day ever 🥹

This group was full of so much fun! So many laughs, a handful of tears & so much love for the newly weds 🖤

Thank you for the opportunity to get to know your favorite & most cherished people, getting to dance & sing along side you & celebrate your love 💕

I don’t travel as often as I used too but every time I get the opportunity, I cherish every moment.

✈️ If you’ve ever considered moving your wedding outside of Oregon & wondering what the cost would be to bring a photographer out, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Travel weddings have always been more about the experience & less about the money value, personally. 10/10 it’s actually cheaper to bring me outside of Oregon 🤭

Here’s the thing about me as a person…

IF you mention, while planning your fall wedding (or any wedding), that you want something - I will make it my mission to accomplish this for you.

In this case: Allie had expressed in multiple ways that she wanted an outside wedding on the grass during planning/engagement session, over looking the rolling hills at . The forecast said rain, it was a cloudy morning day of. They made the call to play it safe & set up inside the beautiful venue.

During family photos before ceremony, approximately one hour before ceremony - the sun decided to grace us with her presence & peaked out from behind the clouds. Allie made a couple comments about the sun, the dry weather & the luck we had for how the day was shaping up. The moment she was made that a second comment about the weather, I knew I would move mountains to get her the ceremony she wanted. I stopped what we were doing, I rounded up the event coordinator, any available person on site & we moved the entire ceremony, including arch, wine barrels & chairs to the outdoor area.

The weather stayed clear, dry & beautiful for the ceremony. It was a little minute call that paid off beautifully 🥹

The rest of the night was spent laughing, dancing & celebrating the love these two share. I never take it lightly to be invited in to such a special day but I promise, I will move mountains & earth itself to ensure your day is everything you want it & MORE 🖤
