Santa has officially made his deliveries, and I’m sure so many of you are soaking in the beautiful chaos of excited children, torn wrapping paper, early-morning giggles, and that unmistakable Christmas magic. 🎄✨

This is just a small sampling of the incredible No Expectations Santa Sessions we did the weekend after Thanksgiving — and oh my goodness, they were pure Christmas magic! 🎅✨

Santa was absolutely AMAZING this year. I received so many messages and compliments about him — his kindness, his gentle way with the kids, and the way he made every moment feel so real and unforgettable. From big belly laughs to shy smiles to those classic wide-eyed “Santa is RIGHT in front of me!” expressions… every session was filled with joy.

The little ones had such a great time — whether they were curious, excited, or even a bit unsure (which we always embrace during No Expectations Sessions!). These are the moments that become the best memories.

I already can’t wait for next year’s Santa sessions. 🎄

Another sweet, returning family this year — and I couldn’t be happier to see them back in the studio! ❄️❤️
This session felt like stepping straight into a winter fairytale. The snowy winter gate scene created such a magical, storybook atmosphere… softly falling snow, frosty tones, and that little touch of holiday wonder that makes studio sessions this time of year so special.

And can we talk about the dresses? Both Mom and daughter looked absolutely stunning in the matching red gowns they borrowed from my client closet. The rich crimson tones popped beautifully against the winter backdrop, adding warmth, elegance, and a perfect festive touch to their portraits.

I love welcoming returning families and watching your little ones grow each year. It’s such an honor to photograph these chapters.

I just ADORE this sweet Gingerbread set… and I adore these kiddos even more! 🍪✨
The warm browns, cozy textures, tiny gingerbread details, and festive holiday tones make this one of the most charming sets I’ve ever created — and these little ones brought it to life so perfectly. Their smiles, their giggles, their sweet personalities… everything about this session felt magical.

I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many of their milestones already, and watching them grow year after year is truly one of the greatest joys of what I do. I’m officially taking a few weeks off starting now, and over the coming days I’ll be sharing some of my favorite holiday and Christmas photos from this season. Before I step away for a few weeks, I just want to say how deeply appreciative I am of all of you. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of maternity sessions is watching that mixture of anticipation, love, and joy unfold in front of the camera. It’s truly such a special season to capture. 🤍

Every maternity session in my studio includes professional hair & makeup, so that mom can feel her absolute best. Most mamas arrive in comfy sweatpants and a messy bun, and my amazing hair & makeup partner works her magic right here in the studio. By the time we start shooting, she feels relaxed, confident, and radiant.
