My work invites viewers to linger awhile, taking time to tap into their memory
or imagination, to find an answer, or complete the story Rural landscapes, small towns, and the people who live there are the heart of my photography. Trained as a journalist and writer, I use the camera to tell stories that begin with an implied “Once upon a time…”
Whether capturing a wide stretch of farmland, a weathered face, or an intimate architectural detail, my goal is to reveal both the familiar and the unexpected. Working in color and black and white, I favor simple, graphic compositions that isolate subjects or draw viewers inward. Each image reflects a place’s past, present, and future while inviting reflection on the enduring character of that space.
