Freaking amazing photography experience for those searching for adventure elopements, bo***ir, family What's up, y'all! i'm brittney. we probably won't get along.

i’m based in amarillo, texas and live with my hubby and two little ones. palo duro canyon sits right in my backyard. i’m a sarcasm connoisseur, and if you can't laugh at the dumbest things (like pretending a tv crew is following us around as i look awkwardly at an invisible camera during inappropriate moments...) be prepared for my dominating height (i am a staggering 5-foot-nothing, and yes, the weather is just fine down here)

Likes- tacos with mango jalapeno margaritas, “that’s what she said” jokes, people who don’t beat around the bush

Dislikes- bears (especially grizzlies!), people calling me "hey, photographer" instead of by my name, the fact that my body hates gluten and will try to kill itself if i digest it

Part two of Amanda and Cody. Their families couldn't be in the middle of nowhere Alaska with them, so their people's words were. They read letters their parents wrote, out loud, with mountains for guests and bears somewhere in the back. Not a dry eye, and I'm including the pilot. If you're balancing family expectations with what you actually want, there are more good answers than you think.

Currently deep in Curacao planning mode for a 2027 sunset elopement: scouting beaches from my desk, checking sunset azimuths like a nerd, and building the plan B before plan A even exists. This is the part of the job nobody sees and I genuinely love it.

How far out should you book a destination elopement that's more than a 3 hour flight? My honest answer: 9 months is the sweet spot. Enough time to chase permits, nail the season, and snag the right flights without panic pricing. Amanda and Cody planned Alaska over about a year and it showed. Less time is doable, more time is dreamy.

The paperwork trap nobody warns you about: some destinations make LEGAL marriage genuinely hard. Petitions months ahead, apostilled documents, witness quotas. The pro move most of my couples make: sign papers at the courthouse at home the week before, then have the real ceremony wherever your heart wants.
