My Story, My why!
To say that my kids are my why is simply an understatement! I have always had a love for photography, always loved taking pictures for not only myself but close friends and family. I took a class when I was younger that really struck a spark in me, but it wasn't until I was pregnant for my daughter that I REALLY thought about it again. My 2016 started off HORRIBLE! I had lost my brother in January at a young age, he was in the Marines. I was really bummed about not having luck with getting pregnant, losing my brother, and a whole lot of college stresses! I got pregnant with my little girl about a month after the loss of my brother, she truly is a miracle in disguise! Anyways, fast forward to after I was pregnant. I was so excited to be able to take pictures of MY baby! Not someone else’s but mine! After the loss of my brother, a miscarriage, and a couples rounds of hormones, we FINALLY had a little girl of our own which was awesome, because at this point I really needed some light in my life! Once she was born and I was doing her pictures. everyone kept telling me I really should just make a business out of it. Everyone told me that my talent was beyond just doing pictures for close friends and family. I decided to give it a shot and took the leap and holy crap was that a pricey jump (worth it though)! That was nearly 4 years ago at this point, and I honestly couldn’t ever imagine myself where I am now, way back then. So lets move forward to now. Now I have not only a beautiful little girl but also a handsome little man! I get to stay home with my babies unless I am at a photo shoot, which depending on who its for and where it is, sometimes they come too! I get to do a job that I absolutely love and am so passionate about. Not many people can say that they can wake up every day and do what they truly love doing, and I can! Now I am not saying that im the BEST photographer around here and that is okay, there is ALWAYS room to grow in every business! I am learning more and more every session that I do. At the end of the day... I have clients that fall in love with their pictures, I have a beautiful family including my husband and two sweet babies, I have an amazing support system, and I have the opportunity to spend time with my babies and run a business that I love. With the support of my family, the support from all of my current and past clients, and the support of my mental stability (LOL) I am able to do this! So that’s my story, that’s my why!
