Some nights are about more than an event they’re about hope ❤️

It was an honor to capture the 9th Annual Dinner for Hope hosted by Steps to Recovery Homes at their venue The Connection Room - 637 N Main St, Cottonwood, AZ.

Hearing stories of recovery, redemption, perseverance, and second chances was truly inspiring.

Thank you to Damien Browning for his leadership, vision, and commitment to bringing people together to strengthen our community.

Thank you to the sponsors, businesses, volunteers, and supporters whose generosity helps make this mission possible.

Most importantly, thank you to those in recovery who continue to fight every day. Your courage, strength, and determination are what this night is all about.

💭 Been thinking a lot of this event 🥺

While I’ve spent many years working with different communities, families, youth, etc. From working in Social Services to developing Youth Programs and other Protective Services for populations & victims, my passion for helping others have stayed true. As this Dream and Vision comes together, a piece of me can’t help but want to shed light on the darkest areas that have torn some of our families apart and turned dreams to nightmares. That is Mental Health, Addiction/Wellness, and those family and friends who we’ve never seen again or have but in a bad way.

We are currently exploring the creation of a Native Fashion & Cultural Showcase that will bring together Native designers, artists, vendors, models, families, and community members from across Arizona.

This vision is bigger than a runway. It’s about celebrating creativity, culture, entrepreneurship, healing, and community connection.

We’re currently seeking interest from potential sponsors who believe in supporting Native talent, small businesses, cultural expression, and awareness surrounding issues impacting Indigenous communities.

If your business, organization, or program would be interested in partnering, we’d love to connect.

Planning on segments for traditional, ceremonial, and modern fashion. My goal is to have Elders, Middle-Aged, Youth (including tiny tot aged) models. So designers, crafters and jewelry makers, if you have creations for those specifics age groups let me know so I can organize.

This Community event will not be a window, in which we’ve only looked through to spectate. But, to bridge gaps, educate, and CONNECT from all walks of life.
