View of a Danish built tower in Helsingborg, Sweden that is part of a fortress system that controlled the entrance into the Baltic Sea. Wonderful views and architecture with a fountain built into the lower entrance and a wonderful park in the back. The other photo features architectural views down the street (Stortorget) to the North Sea. The Helsingborg City Hall with its red brick siding, clock tower and decorative spires and pointed arches is a site to behold.

Riddarholmen Church is located on the island of Riddarholmen, close to the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden. The church serves as the final resting place of most Swedish monarchs. It is one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm, parts of it dating to the late-13th century, when it was built as a Greyfriars monastery. The present cast-iron spire was installed in 1835 and visually is one of the highest in Stockholm. Today the church is used only for burial and commemorative purposes.

"Family lifts family" is a powerful bronze sculpture in Copenhagen, created by Danish artist Svend Wiig Hansen as a memorial to Culture Minister Julius Bomholt, symbolizing the continuity and nurturing of generations. The sculpture is monumental and highly expressive. It depicts a muscular man and woman, cooperatively lifting another woman. The lifted woman holds a child on her feet, representing the future generation. The physical act of lifting symbolizes care, continuity, and the nurturing role of family and society in supporting each succeeding generation.

The first picture (in sepia) is an old photo of a father that I was asked to restore. The 2nd picture are my efforts to enhance it manually in Lightroom. The rest of the picture I fed to the latest ChatGPT app and asked it to enhance (with a long command shown below) the original photo cropped to the one that I worked on. The 3rd photo is the output which is excellent the only flaw being that his right hand gained an extra finger and lost the document that he was holding. So, I asked ChatGPT to correct his hand and colorize it (shown in picture 4. Finally in picture 5, I asked the app to put a paper document in his hand, and it did a great job but not where it was in the original.

The point of this post is to highlight the current capabilities of AI image generators versus what and experienced LR editor could do, which was much better. I also used Photoshop to auto correct the original and it was less than my efforts in LR. If you have old precious photos that would like to be restored - An AI program might be a better and much quicker method.

A walk across the Skybridge in Hardberger Park (San Antonio) which opened in December 2020. The Skywalk connected 7.5 miles of trails in the 330 acre park.
The Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge connects both sides of Phil Hardberger Park, which was once divided by Wurzbach Parkway. Spanning 150 feet in width at the top and expanding to 165 feet at its base, this bridge is designed with ample space to accommodate both humans and animals, ensuring a secure crossing.
