No matter what happened eariler in the day, if I can sit down at my computer and play around with my images, I remember that everything is okay. And when I've had a bad morning, thinking I don't feel like shooting today, but when I get to it, I forget EVERYTHING that I was upset about and live in the moment. If that's not living your dream, I don't know what is! :)

Some weddings remind me exactly why I love what I do. šŸ¤

Jennifer and Jamesā€™ wedding was one of those days.

It was HOT, the sun was bright, and there wasnā€™t a cloud in the sky. But honestly? Nobody cared. These two were just so incredibly happy to finally be married, and they were surrounded by so many people who were just as happy for them.

Watching James marry the woman heā€™d spent so long hoping and praying for was something I wonā€™t forget. He looked absolutely over the moon, and Jenniferā€™s love for him was just as obvious.

And then Jennifer surprised him with a song she had written about their relationship. There wasnā€™t a dry eye around. Including mine. šŸ„¹

Family, friends, and so many of their Special Olympics friends and coworkers came together to celebrate these two, and it was such a joy to be there.

After 20+ years of photographing weddings, this is still why I love my job. I get to stand beside people on some of the happiest days of their lives, and sometimes I get lucky enough to witness a love story like this one.

Some weddings remind me exactly why I love what I do. šŸ¤

Jennifer and Jamesā€™ wedding was one of those days.

Jamesā€™s entrance for his and Jenniferā€™s wedding ceremony was epic!

Flying in on a plane is definitely not something you see at every wedding.

I love when couples go a little bit out of the box.

Hey everyone! I think itā€™s time I properly introduce myself around here!

Iā€™m Jenna, and Iā€™ve been photographing weddings for more than 20 years. And despite all those years, I still get ridiculously excited when I get to be part of someoneā€™s wedding day.

I love beautiful photos, obviously. But what I love even MORE is helping my couples feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves while weā€™re making them.

My couple from the east side of the state came to me for a session last week. Lake Michigan welcomed them with a pretty sky for their session! Images coming soon!

My 11-year-old daughter has occasionally helped me with sessions before. She came along for the flying dress beach shoots recently and got in on the action, in more ways than one!

Sheā€™s still young but so much fun to have around, Iā€™m glad she joined us. I got some great shots of her in one of the dresses too!

Usually we treat you like a queen for a bo***ir sessionā€¦ but for flying dresses, we recruit you for the job as assistant!

We had a ton of fun last week doing our beach sessions, and probably built some muscle dragging those wet and sandy dresses back up to the parking lot.

I definitely think these ladies earned their ice cream treat afterwards. šŸØ

The reception is going strong and the bride and groom are suddenly gone!?

Turns out these two just wanted to put some final touches on their first dance before it was time to debut it to the guests.
