Do you have an altered that runs on alcohol, nitro, turbo, pro charger or blown? We want you at the World Fuel Altered Nationals August 21-22. below are a list of rules/ pay. If you have not pre entered contact Gerald asap at 641-780-3534.
Rules for Fuel Altereds
•150” maximum wheelbase Fuel Altereds only.
•Dual magnetos allowed.
•Any engine combination is legal (Turbos, Nitrous, Roots or Screw blowers, or power adder)
•Current IHRA or NHRA Advanced ET chassis certification
•Driver must have current IHRA or NHRA license •Advanced ET or Special Fuel
license for cars quicker than 4.50
Alcohol and/or nitro methane fuel
•Up to date blower restraints and seat belts
•Engine diaper mandatory
•Crossing the center line or contacting the guard rail is automatic loss of round or
qualifying pass.
•Red light start is automatic loss of round. Red light does not count in qualifying.
•Ladders will be set as Sportsman - #1 runs #5, #2 runs #6, #3 runs #7, #4 runs #8
•Lane choice for 1st round eliminations is quicker qualifying E.T. and the quickest
previous round going forward.
•2 qualifying sessions on Friday night (5 & 6 pm)
Payout Information for Fuel Altereds (Funny Cars same as F/C Chaos series)
A Class – qualify 8 cars
1 st round loser = $1000.00
2 nd round loser = $2000.00
Runner up = $3500.00
Winner = $5000.00
Total A field Purse = $16,500.00 plus bonuses.
‘A’ Field bonus: $500.00 bonus for cars running 85 % or more nitro.
B Class – qualify 8 cars
1 st round loser = $500.00
2 nd round loser = $750.00
Runner up = $1000.00
Winner = $2000.00
Total B field Purse = $6500.00 plus bonuses.
‘B’Field bonus of $250 for cars running 85% or more nitro
C Class –Non qualifiers in F/A and F/C will be combined into a Chicago style race with 2
runs for all entries (need at least 4 to run the class) and 2 quickest cars run in the final for $1000 to win $500 to runner up.
$150 entry for driver and up to 5 crew members. (includes parking for one RV) Teams must email Gerald Kramer at [email protected], prior to the event with
their car info, names of crew, and rig length for parking.
At the end of the qualifying sessions A and B fields are set and no alternates will be installed if someone is broke their opponent will have a bye run. Broke car will receive
1 st round money.
