They did it! This family surprised Donna for her 75th birthday with family photos AND a surprise party!

She had no idea any of them were coming until they pulled in the driveway.

I’ve always believed in community over competition. 🤍

A few years ago, I invited lexibrent_photography to come shadow me, and to this day, she still bounces ideas off of me. ❤️

Getting to stand on the field with numerous other photographers this last Friday is always such an honor!

At the end of the day, photography is a business. We all have bills to pay, and we go where the opportunities are. But I’ve never believed that someone else’s success takes away from my own.

There is ENOUGH to go around. God doesn’t lack and there are enough opportunities, enough clients, and enough room for all of us to grow.

We should be cheering each other on and celebrating one another instead of treating every woman in the same industry like competition.

You can want to succeed in your own business and still want to see the woman beside you succeed, too. That’s how it should be. 🤍📸

Thank you Lexi for capturing me in my element- I sure did enjoy catching up with you on the gridiron 🏈📸

And it’s been so fun to watch us both grow 🫶🏼

My baby is 6 today!

We all say it, but where did the time go?

If you know her, then it’s no surprise to you that she picked her outfit out and posed herself for every picture.
She had the best time and honestly so did I!

She is spunky, sassy, and a boss babe in the making.
She loves hard and never gives up. She is such a light and I’m so thankful for her everyday

SUNDAY THOUGHTS: A Spirit of EXCELLENCE!

Daniel was a man of excellence, and because of that, the king promoted him to a position of great influence and authority (see Daniel 63).

Daniel was also a man who refused to compromise. Even if his choices endangered his life, he would not compromise.
He believed strongly in keeping his commitments, promises, and vows, and he was willing to endure personal discomfort to do so.

The Bible says we should do what we say we are going to do even if it is hard or brings negative consequences.

In Daniel chapter 6, the king signed a decree stating that anyone who asked a petition of any god or person besides the king for thirty days would be cast into a den of lions. Daniel refused to stop praying to God and was indeed sent into the lions' den; however, no harm came to him because God miraculously shut the lions' mouths. The king was so impressed with Daniel's decision and the miraculous way God took care of him that he issued a decree that all the people had to fear and tremble before Daniel's God, for He was indeed the living God.

Our God is an excellent God, and He has called us to be excellent too. To be excellent is a decision we must make, and it means we should always go the extra mile to do things the very best way they can be done. And, we should strive to do what we believe God would do in a situation similar to the one we are in. Make a decision today to be excellent!
