Four birthdays. Four years of watching her grow through my lens. 🤍

I photographed this sweet girl for her very first birthday, and somehow, here we are celebrating number four. Year after year, I get to watch a little more of her personality unfold , a little taller, a little more independent, and somehow even sweeter.

There is something so incredibly special about being invited back into a family's story again and again. These aren't just sessions anymore. They're chapters. And getting to document her childhood, one birthday at a time, is something I'll never take for granted.

This year called for tiny teacups, a pretty dress, and a little bit of childhood magic. 🫖🌸

This is why I love what I do. It's never just about beautiful photos, it's about preserving the moments that are gone in the blink of an eye. The shaky breaths, the tears you didn't expect, the proud smiles, the overwhelming love... the real, raw emotions that deserve to be remembered exactly as they happened. Being trusted to freeze those moments forever is something I'll never take for granted. ✨

Twenty-eight changed me.

It wasn't the easiest year, but I don't think it was meant to be. It was a year of learning that protecting my peace doesn't make me selfish. A year of finding my voice and realizing that standing up for myself isn't something I should ever apologize for. A year of grief that reminded me how fragile life is and how deeply we should love the people around us while we can.

But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I also realized something I hadn't fully seen before I AM LOVED. Truly, deeply loved. This year showed me how many people see me, believe in me, cheer for me, and value the person I am. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own self-doubt that we forget others have been seeing our worth all along.

Twenty-eight was full of growing pains, hard conversations, quiet healing, and becoming. I leave this year with more confidence, more gratitude, and more faith in myself than I've ever had before.

So here's to twenty-nine. To protecting my
peace, loving without hesitation, chasing the dreams that scare me, and continuing to become the woman I've always hoped I'd be.

28, thank you for every lesson.
