That week was loud, chaotic, and overflowing with love—the best kind of chaos. Watching you laugh with your grandkids, spoil them endlessly, and create memories they'll cherish forever reminded me how lucky we are.

As kids, we never realize how quickly time passes. One day you're holding your babies, and the next you're watching them raise children of their own. These moments together become priceless.

Thank you for your unconditional love, your strength, and for always making family the center of everything. The grandkids adore you!

Here's to 71 years of love, laughter, and a legacy that continues to grow through all of us. ❤️

📣 Friendly PSA from your neighborhood photographer. 😂

Please don't ghost your photographer.

That retainer holds the date you booked only. It is not refundable or transferable if you no-show after I've already spent hours setting up your session.

Do you know how long it takes me to steam these backdrops? Iron tiny dresses? Inflate balloons? Convince my kids not to touch anything? 😩😂

And then the nerve to be mad at me when the contract clearly states:

✨ No-show + no communication = no refund
✨ Same-day cancellations = non-refundable
✨ Retainers reserve your date/time only

Listen, we're all busy. We all have kids. Life happens! I completely understand emergencies but to just wait for nothing! ❌

But communication is FREE. A quick text saying, "Hey Tani, I can't make it" goes a long way. (I could have been at home goods) Let me know you need to reschedule ahead of time so I can move you to another date without penalty.

Because while I'm sitting here waiting for you, I could be editing galleries, cleaning my house, chasing my kids, or pretending I'm not buying another princess dress I absolutely do not need. 👑💸

Hello Kitty and birthday magic are officially in full swing! 🎀💕✨

We're just getting started, but the countdown to 6 starts now. We're about a month away but I just had to bust out one of my all-time favorites—an OG Stella Maris Tutu Atelier Carnival Tutu—and it's every bit as magical as I remembered. 🎠👑

How is my baby already almost 6?! Slow down, time. Until then, we're soaking up every twirl, every smile, and every little moment. 💖

Another dance season in the books for Rocky! 🖤✨

From ballet to jazz to tap, he gave it his all this year. But let's be honest—being Gru for the Minions tap performance was definitely his favorite. 😂🍌

Can we talk about boys' dance costumes for a second though? The girls get sparkles, sequins, and all the fun details, while the boys are over here in basic outfits. We need some inspiration for next year because my little performer deserves a little extra flair too! 😆

Mariah's ballet routine this year was set to the Harry Potter theme song. ⚡️🪄

Now, the costume may say Gryffindor, but if you've met Mariah, you know she'd absolutely be sorted into Slytherin. 🐍

(And yes, she insisted on wearing her tap shoes for her ballet photos. We pick our battles around here... this was one I lost. 😂)

From casting spells on stage to cheering her heart out in her High School Musical tap routine, she brought all the magic this recital season. The pom poms were definitely her favorite part. ❤️📣

And as a Brockton family, we loved the little nod to Brockton High with the red cheer uniform. Go Boxers! 🥊

This week reminded me that some of life's greatest treasures aren't things—they're people. ❤️

My mom came to town, my twin sister and her kids filled the house, and between dance recital excitement, cousins running through every room, endless snacks, laughter, and a little bit of chaos, our home was overflowing with love.

As much as I miss my usual routine, I wouldn't trade these moments for anything. Watching the cousins make memories together, seeing the bond they share grow stronger, and having everyone under one roof is something I never take for granted.

The house is loud. My schedule is off. The toys are everywhere. But these are the moments my children will remember long after the mess is cleaned up.

I'll be getting back to my editing schedule next week, but for now I'm holding onto the joy of a full house and a full heart. ✨

Family is the legacy. Cousins are often our first best friends. And these memories are worth every bit of the chaos.
