I’m going to say this because I truly hope we can stop normalizing this in the photography industry.
Another photographer took one of my images and digitally removed my daughter from her own portrait, replacing her with another child. That image was created for **my daughter’s Chanel No. 5 birthday session**—a personal concept and set that I designed specifically for her.
Please don’t do this. Recreating a concept is one thing, but taking another photographer’s finished work and photoshopping out their child to insert your own subject is not okay.
You have more than double my platform, and there is absolutely no need to use my work this way. There is plenty of room for all of us to create, inspire, and showcase our own ideas without altering someone else’s photographs to make them work for our own portfolio.
**Let’s respect each other’s creative work, time, and originality.** 🤍
