🌸 Spring is in full bloom!
I was wandering around the house yesterday evening and couldn’t resist capturing these gorgeous Dogwood blossoms right in my backyard. I’m absolutely loving how all the fresh flowers and soft colors are brightening everything up right now.
It’s the perfect reminder of why I love incorporating natural beauty into wedding days — those soft, romantic, painterly portraits of newlyweds surrounded by blooming trees and vibrant spring colors are some of my favorite moments to create.

Spring mini family photo sessions are now available for booking in Kingsport!

I have some exciting news for everyone following my upcoming Tri-Cities Mini Sessions! After scouting the Greenbelt in Kingsport this weekend, I’ve decided to move our Kingsport sessions to the stunning 𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒉 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆.

I’ve included 6 photos I captured here (2 with my wife in them) to show you exactly why I fell in love with this location. I am so excited and energized to bring my 20 years of experience to this beautiful new setting.

Renewed Vision, Lifelong Passion
I’m not new to photography, but I am renewed. I am stepping back into the photography world with a fresh desire to let my talent shine and grow into something truly special.
My interest in photography began many years ago—somewhere south of 20 years, actually. Since then, I’ve done a little bit of everything: family portraits, proms, model photography, and even some landscapes. I’ve been honored to capture 10 to 15 weddings over the years, and through all of that experience, I realized one thing: I love weddings more than anything else.
To me, weddings are so special. It’s about more than just capturing a moment; it’s about being "in the moment" and witnessing the love and joy of two people coming together in holy matrimony. It is one of the most powerful experiences God ever instituted. Capturing that excitement, that intimacy, and that beauty is my true passion, and I love the opportunity to be a part of it.
This time, I’m in it to be a full-time wedding photographer. I know I have the eye for it because I am an artist by nature and by gift. As a musician and songwriter, I am constantly creating; I can "see" beauty just as clearly as I "hear" it. That creative part of me is always active, and I believe that being an artist at heart—the way God made me—is a valuable asset to anyone who wants their wedding day handled with care, emotion, and an artistic touch.
