The holidays always feel like a gentle pause — time with family, slow mornings, and a little space to breathe before the new season begins. Devon and I spent part of the weekend photographing a sweet couple at the Biltmore, and stepping back into this light felt like a reset in all the best ways.

There’s something special about sessions in the Blue Ridge. The quiet. The expanse of the mountains. The way the air feels softer somehow. It turns every photograph into something a little more timeless, a little more romantic, a little more like memory.
