But whyyyy??? 👇👇

If you have these phrases on your photography website…

Is it cuz you used AI? (Be honest 🫣)

I see these phrases over…and over…and overrrrrrr again on photographers’ websites.

So even if you didn’t use AI to come up with phrases like this…

if you’re just putting stuff on your website that everyone else has,

OF COURSE clients are gonna get confused,

not be able to tell you apart from the photographer down the street,

and then default to the cheapest option if you’re all the same anyway. 🤷‍♀️

🫠The cancer could have been there for YEARS

All I do is play “what if”.

What if I didn’t ignore all the lumps I always felt?
What if we found it sooner?
Would I have not had to do chemo?
10 years of medical menopause?
Would I have not been able to nurse my firstborn?
Would I even have my second kiddo?

As many what ifs that there are, I am grateful for the joy of these two boys and a husband who has stood by my side through it all.

BUT if you’re bonding over your coffee order while clients still don’t know why they should hire you over the next photographer…

It’s like being friend zoned.

They might like you as a person but that doesn’t mean they’ll give you their money. 💵

So go for it - share about your little quirks and hobbies and obsessions. 🙌

It might be what gets someone in the door originally
OR what tips the scales in the end

BUT don’t sell yourself short and think that the most interesting thing about you and your work is that you like coffee…☕️
