If it ever gets to the point where millennial photographers (and older) start sucking big time as a whole, then we’ll talk about “Gen Z is better”. 👍👍

Like if our photos are blurry cuz we can’t see in low light anymore.

And we keep missing shots because we can’t get up from our knees fast enough.

Or we keep yelling “hey you kids! Get off my lawn!” at the flower girls 😡

Cuz I’m all about calling out sh*tty photographer behavior.

Like when photographers are treating their clients like crap and delivering crap photos.

But unfortunately, those photographers aren’t confined to one generation. 😬

And calling them out is a separate subject.

So be a team player. Get off the mountain. Serve your clients well and market to your unicorns.

😭I’ll never forget the groom that made me cry.

I just had my first round of chemo and had their wedding a few days later.

I don’t remember exactly what he said, but as soon as I saw him, on the morning of HIS wedding mind you, he gave me the biggest hug and I felt so so seen and cared for and grateful that the people I got to work with for ten years were of the highest caliber of human.

And of course Shannon Bialy | New England Wedding Photographer was there that day - “assistant” is a weak term here.

She kept me alive on countless wedding days over those difficult 18 months. Taking care of me and taking over my camera when I needed to rest even more. Absolutely indebted forever.

Anyway…

This is what I want for you and why I do what I do.

It’s actually incredible to think of how someone has made a decades long career and is a national treasure because of word play and being silly.
