Money Makes the World Go Around

home-cooked bioplastic, shredded U.S. currency, peony petals, food coloring, hand-stitched with a 1.4 mm crochet hook with crochet thread and pearl cotton

37.5 x 37.5 x 0.25 inches

The biodegradable nature of the material suggests that it could all fall apart given the right circumstances.

Something satisfying about squishing strawberries! Bananas worked in bioplastic. Let's see if strawberries do, too. 😯 Watch out for a strawberry and cream or chocolate quilt this Spring.

Delights of Joy and Friendship (working title) is coming together.

This piece is made with calendula and zinnia bioplastics using the Joy's Delight quilt block. I'm undecided about what I like more... cooking the materials or stitching them together.

Hopefully, I'll be done by tomorrow so I can finish, Money Makes the World Go 'Round.
