Vulnerable post!
What a week at White Pine! 🤍
Turned 67 on Monday.
A minimony on Wednesday, pulled together in just one week… a wedding on Friday, another wedding on Saturday, and a sweet “She Found Her Honey” bridal shower on Sunday! 🐝🍯
And somehow, in the middle of it all, we still created some beautiful things. These are just a few photos from the week.
Last weekend, I was hit pretty hard with a foodborne illness (not contagious)and lost almost 20 pounds in six days. Grateful for the weight loss, not for the process. There were moments this week when I truly wasn't sure how I was going to keep everything going.
But God knew. ❤️
He gave me strength when I didn't have much of my own, and He surrounded me with people who stepped in and carried the load when I simply couldn't. Sometimes God's grace looks like strength to keep moving, and sometimes it looks like the friends and family He places beside you.
A special thank you to my husband, John, who had to be me this week—and trust me, that is no easy assignment! 😂 He stepped in wherever I needed him, kept things moving, and helped make sure our couples and families still had the beautiful celebrations they deserved.
And to the friends who showed up, helped, encouraged me, lifted things, moved things, decorated, cleaned and filled in the gaps—thank you. I could not have done this week without you.
Looking back at these photos, I don't just see pretty flowers, tables and weddings. I see God's grace. I see friendship. I see answered prayers. I see people loving one another well.
I am tired, grateful, humbled…and very blessed.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 🤍
Another beautiful week at White Pine Manor—not because everything went according to plan, but because when I wasn't strong enough, God was.
