How’d you get that photo??

While I was photographing mom and her kiddos, I noticed sun flares in their faces that were not flattering. I asked the dad if he would be willing to help me and of course he said yes (so thankful for Jacob Gaddie ).

I grabbed my white blanket (a natural reflector and in this case, a sun blocker) and had him stand just off to the side, blocking the sun to keep those pesky flares off their faces. ☀️

And of course, he was making them laugh at the same time! 😂

Sometimes it takes a little teamwork to get the shot, and dad was definitely part of the magic behind these!

Just a reminder that sometimes the best photos happen when everyone relaxes, has a little fun, and just enjoys being together.

Fall just might be my favorite season for senior portraits!
