📣Announcing my next lighting workshop—and this one is going to be something special.

I’ve teamed up with Karen Jerzyk Photo at Studio 1985 to create an immersive lighting class and content creation experience unlike anything else in New England. This isn’t a lecture—you’ll be inside the process, shaping light and building images in real time.

To make it truly impactful, we’re limiting this to just 6 photographers. That means direct, hands-on guidance, space to experiment, and the chance to fully bring your creative vision to life without fighting for time or attention.

During the workshop, I’ll walk you through exactly how I approach lighting—from the gear I trust and camera settings I rely on, to modifiers, light placement, and how to see and shape light with intention. We’ll break down practical techniques you can immediately apply to weddings, portraits, and studio work so you leave with skills—not just inspiration.

Then we take it further.

You’ll step onto some of the most surreal, cinematic sets you’ve ever seen and photograph Karen and Jon in full spacesuits—creating portfolio-worthy images that stand out instantly. This is your chance to build work that doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

I will be leading a creative lighting workshop in the immersive and surreal setting of Studio 1985 in Manchester, NH on Saturday, April 25th. We will be going over gear, camera settings, lighting position, modifiers and creative techniques. I will show you how to create composites and go over post processing editing. You will even have the opportunity to photograph Karen Jerzyk Photo and Jon in their incredible space suits!

Our hope is that you leave with some new skills and a breath of creativity to carry you through your next sessions and creative projects!
