Normally I keep my concert work over on my Instagram page, but I wanted to share a few here from the other night with Gregory Alan Isakov. Ive had the honor of photographing Greg's concerts a few times now, and this tour he is joined my local orchestra. I captured one of the Shelburne VT shows with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and it was one of my favorite shows of all time

Happy World Photography day! Wanted to share my favorite photo from last year again! Hope to have a fall like that again this year!

Every year for the past 5 or so years, Josh Robert Nature Photography and I have had this tradition of picking a day in the fall to go out and shoot the foliage sunrise to sunset. Some of my favorite photos, and favorite memories, have come from those days. This prior weekend, it was time for that tradition once more.

This year we decided to venture out and try unknown territory. We met at 3am and drove all the way up I-93 into Vermont and started taking photos in these smaller towns we had never been to before. This image below is one of my favorites from the day, a bit after sunrise we drove past this farm and were able to get a great vantage point from the hill as the light was hitting the barn and field just right. I have many many more photos to share from our yearly trip, so stay tuned for what's ahead!

For the last few years, the sunflower festivals across New Hampshire have come and gone, and I kept saying to myself "I'm going to get some sunrise photos of these." Well, this year I finally did it. This morning I woke up early and was able to set out to the sunflower field following the Merrimack River Greenway Trail in Concord on what started as a pretty foggy morning. However, just after the sun rose for the morning, the fog started to disappear over the Merrimack River and I was able to get a view of the New Hampshire Capitol Building from across the field, with a bit of a rainbow peaking through!

The Tiny Watcher

Hi friends! Long time no see. This summer has been crazy busy and haven't had as much time to do photo work as I had hoped, but that should be changing soon! For the longest time I've wanted to find an Eastern Screech Owl, as it was the last of the native New England owls I haven't seen in the wild. I had gotten wind of one being around and ended up finding this female (I believe) rufous Eastern Screech hanging in a rotting black locust tree. Looks like they're either beginning or finishing a molt which is why there is some feathers missing around the face. I sat with the owl for a bit, and due to it being the morning it was sleeping for the most part. Occasionally if it heard a noise it would open its eyes and take a look around, and one of the times it decided to only open one eye and tilt its head at me, making this goofy looking owl even goofier looking. So excited I got these pictures, hopeful to spend some more time with it.

The last couple of years, I've started to reach the age where all my friends are getting engaged. Ive felt very honored and thankful when I have close friends reach out to me and ask if I am able to do their engagement photos.

This set was taken a few weekends back for one of my good friends in Durham and I've loved how they turned out. We were lucky to get great light that evening, which helped with my first time shooting at Wagon Hill farm! I'll definitely be going back there!

Tried another hand at deep sky astrophotography this past weekend. Got some clear skies for 2.5 hours but under-estimated how small the galaxy would appear in a photo. Anyway here's the cigar galaxy very small in a photo, haha.
