Selest and Kyle are a dream! But let's be so real - that was actually Bleu's wedding.

My last visit to IronWood on the Vermilion was in the fall but it turns out their summertime weddings are just as magical. I also discovered that the perfect recipe for a happy, fulfilled photographer includes a flower grandma, three particularly mischievous groomsmen, and the undeniable chemistry between the newest Czarnecki duo (I mean seriously, someone put them in a magazine).

At the end of a wedding night I usually leave with a cute koozie or a matchbox as keepsakes to remember my couples by.

The Perdues sent me home with a tattoo.

If anyone needs me over the next week I'll be busy reminiscing about possibly the most radical wedding of all time. Warehouse 109 already delivers priceless memories but add Ricky and Hannah in, along with their amazing wedding party and families, and you've got yourself a romantic shindig to remember.

Editing for the fifth annual I Got Your Six 5K is officially underway! Thank you to everyone who has already reached out. I'll be responding and sending photos out as soon as they're finished.

It was warmer than past years but as usual, runners and walkers absolutely killed it! Shout out to my husband Colin for deciding to run on a whim and then taking 1st place in his age group.

Great weather, even greater people (and dogs), and lots of love to go around. Each year keeps getting better.

Let’s chat spring! 🌷

I’ve been getting a lot of messages about booking outdoor sessions for March and April. Thing is, nothing has bloomed yet and Illinois is kind of blah.

But fear not: The best timeline for spring photos with cute blooms and greenery usually starts at the very end of April. If this goes past someone’s birthday or anniversary, gift certificates are available and scheduling is available upon purchase.

As always, weekends are a hot commodity but are not available again until July. No worries, though. As the sun sets later, so will our expected meeting times ☀️
