This one was a long time coming, literally: the events of this year pushed Andrew and Abbi's wedding back from their original May date.

But boy was it worth it. The weather turned out just about perfect, and there were so many laughs and great moments. I'm grateful that after everything that went on this year, these two were able to have this day.

Last wedding of the year, and it couldn't have been more chill or more fun. Matt and Amanda have an entertaining group of friends that made for a great time. I was definitely loving the game theme for the reception. Congrats to you both!

Another summer, another Black Penguin wedding, and if anything, we just get better at throwing a party. Ray and Emily were an absolute privilege to work with and they brought together one of the most fun wedding parties I've ever photographed. Going to have a great time finishing up the rest of these.

This wedding, guys. There was laughter, there were tears happy and sad, there was heat, there was an awesome veil, and there were two awesome people with great families who joined together on a fantastic day. To be a part of both Lauren and Joe's engagement and wedding was a blast.

The second proposal I had the privilege of capturing last month happened on top of the John Hancock: I may have travelled further for proposals, but I've definitely never travelled higher. EJ impeccably pulled off a spectacular surprise (and also shoved his discomfort with heights aside) and it was a treat to meet Erika and her family.

Blakely was turning one and I wasn't going to be able to make her birthday party, so I popped up for Thanksgiving instead and took some pictures and had a good time.

Clay and Bre couldn't take their furry children to their wedding in the Carolinas, so they asked me if I'd be up for a photoshoot with them out at the farm.

The answer to that question was never going to be no.

Sometimes in life your brother asks if you can maybe photograph a proposal that's happening like...the next day. I was traveling to visit him and his family and it turns out his sister-in-law's boyfriend was planning to propose that weekend.

The weather was cold and the ground was wet but being able to capture Joe's proposal to Lauren was worth every soaked pair of pants.
