Wildlife moment I will not forget. Yesterday at Joppa Flats near Plum Island in Newburyport I counted up to 10 bald eagles in the same place at the same time. I have been photographing and watching birds around here for years and I have never seen this many together in one spot.

What made it even more interesting was the mix. I saw 3 adults and the rest were juveniles, all competing and circling the same area. They were actively feeding too, feasting on several unlucky birds and a goose along the flats.

It was intense and incredible to witness how powerful and efficient they are up close.

Days like this are why I keep going back out with the camera. You never know when you are going to see something rare and unforgettable. Newburyport always delivers.

ICYMI: Even Mother Nature showed up in Patriots colors last night, painting the sky above Boston red, white and blue while the Prudential Tower lit up with a big GO PATS above the city. The sky did its part to rally the team, even if the result didn’t fall our way. Boston & New England always show up! ❤️💙

There is nothing quite like the Boston skyline when the city rallies together. I headed out tonight to capture the Prudential Tower glowing in red, white, and blue for the big game. Watching the Pru light up always feels like the ultimate “good luck” charm for New England!

Whether you’re watching from home or at a party, let’s bring that 7th trophy back to Foxborough tonight. 🏆

Behind the scenes of ringing in 2026 🎆

I mounted my X5 360° camera right on my Z9 tripod so you can see exactly what I was seeing while photographing the New Year’s Eve fireworks over Boston Common. This video shows my full vantage point as the city lit up and the Prudential Tower glowed 26 in the background.

This is the full fireworks show, sped up in parts, so it is a bit long but definitely worth the watch. If you missed the show or want to relive it from my perspective, this is as close as it gets to being there.

Here are my full images from photographing Boston’s New Year’s Eve fireworks 🎆

I was back out in the city for the first time in a few years capturing both shows, the 7pm fireworks over Boston Common and the midnight fireworks over Boston Harbor. We finally had some nice weather too, clear skies, calm air, and perfect conditions for photography, which made a huge difference in how the colors and skyline came out.

As the year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the year, and to everyone who came out, stopped by, and supported me at the Tuscan Village Holiday Market. Being part of it this season was truly incredible, and I loved meeting and talking with the thousands of you.

I’m beyond grateful that I get to share my photography of Boston, New England, and now the world with all of you. Knowing that so many of you have my images in your homes, offices, and even on board your boats honestly means everything to me. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love, and I don’t take that for granted.
