Some faves from Cathy and Aaron’s engagement session on the loveliest spring morning in Boston. We spent our time strolling from the Common through Beacon Hill and down to the Charles River where we were greeted by some new feathered friends 🪿 🪿 . Can’t wait for their upcoming wedding this June ā¤ļø!

Every timeline needs buffer time. Not because things will go wrong—but because the best moments need space to happen. If every minute is scheduled, there’s no room for the real ones.

More isn’t more. A tight timeline means rushing and rushing means stress— and stress shows up in photos. Give each part of the day enough time to actually breathe.

It sounds obvious, but it’s easy to get separated in the chaos. Make intentional choices to come back to eachother throughout the day. Even five minutes together changes everything.

Every couple says it after the fact. The day you spent a year planning is over before you feel like it started. This isn’t a reason to stress—it’s a reason to be present.

You’ll miss moments. Your partner will miss different ones. That’s not failure—it’s just the reality of being one person in a room full of people you love.

Everyone wants a moment with you. Everyone has something they need. Build in buffer time and give yourself permission to not be everywhere at once.

The five minutes before the ceremony. The walk between the ceremony and reception. The second after the last dance ends. These are the ones couples remember.

The details will be beautiful. The moments will be real. That’s actually the goal. The day will be imperfectly perfect!
