The unofficial start of summer.

Longer evenings.
Warm air on the water.
Fireworks somewhere in the distance.

The season that reminds us to stay out a little later and breathe a little deeper.

Boston finally starting to bloom again. 🌷

For a few quiet minutes, the city softened.

The traffic noise faded into the background, the sky turned cotton candy pink, and hundreds of tulips swayed in the evening breeze like spring was gently reminding everyone to slow down for a second.

I think that’s why I’m always drawn to scenes like this.

Not because they’re perfect.
Not because they’re famous.
But because they interrupt the rush.

Because for one small moment, you stop thinking about emails and deadlines and everything weighing on you… and just exist inside the color, the light, the air, the stillness.

And lately, that kind of pause feels more important than ever.

I hope these photos feel like a deep breath for someone who needs one tonight. šŸ’›

Some days aren’t meant to be figured out.

They’re meant to be moved through slowly.
Gently.
Without forcing clarity that isn’t ready yet.

If today feels like that, you’re allowed to meet it there.

Counting down the days until life looks like this again.

Wildflowers growing out of the mountainside.
Cold swims after long hikes and sunny beach days.
Sunset light stretching across the valleys.
The kind of air that makes your shoulders finally unclench.

Patiently waiting for slow mornings, tired legs, salty skin, and weekends spent outside instead of indoors staring at screens.

Summer always feels like coming back to myself. šŸŒæā˜€ļø

Sometimes it’s not just what you’re carrying.
It’s how often you have to explain, defend, or downplay it.

And how rarely you feel fully understood.

you can feel it before it arrives

the light staying a little longer
the water softening
the air loosening its grip

nothing loud, nothing rushed
just a quiet return to something easier

maybe this is what we’ve been waiting for

i don’t think i’m just excited for summer

i think i’m just ready for things to feel a little lighter again

Grateful doesn’t quite cover how this weekend felt.

I’m so beyond thankful for the friends and family who showed up, took their time, and stood with me in this — your support means more than I can even explain.

There’s something really special about sharing your work and seeing it land with the people who know your heart.

And I’m so grateful for the opportunity to exhibit at among so many talented artists.

This one will stay with me for a long time. šŸ’œ

Some of the hardest parts never look dramatic from the outside.
They look like planning, calculating, second-guessing, and carrying more than people realize.

If you live this way too, you’re not the only one.
