Somewhere, someone you love is looking at this same moon.

Maybe they’re across town. Maybe they’re hundreds of miles away.

But for a moment, you’re both standing beneath the same sky.

I think that’s one of the reasons I’ve always been drawn to photographing the moon. It has a way of making the world feel a little smaller and our connections feel a little closer.

The moon is powerful enough to move entire oceans.

Think about that for a second.

Twice a day, tides rise and fall because of the moon’s gravitational pull.

I think there’s something beautiful about that.

An object more than 238,000 miles away can influence the rhythm of the sea.

And yet we often forget it’s there.

Maybe the things that shape us most are the things we don’t always see.

The moon has become one of my favorite teachers.

It reminds me that change isn’t failure.

That seasons aren’t permanent.

That there is beauty in becoming.

We celebrate the full moon, but we rarely stop to appreciate all the phases in between.

I’ve been wondering what would happen if we treated ourselves the same way we treat the night sky.

Less criticism.

More curiosity.

Less pressure.

More grace.

Every time I travel, I’m reminded of how much exists beyond the routines and responsibilities that fill my days. The world is bigger than the bubble we live in, and stepping outside of it has a way of putting everything back into perspective.

New places don’t just change your scenery—they change the way you see your own life. Sometimes that’s exactly what we need.

Every time I travel, I’m reminded how easy it is to mistake our daily routine for the whole world.

Then you step onto a new street, hear a different language, meet people with completely different lives, and realize how much beauty exists beyond your own bubble.

It’s one of the reasons I keep chasing new landscapes—not just to see them, but to remember how big, beautiful, and peaceful this world really is.
